DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Anthony McGuire, on behalf of the owner Partners Self Storage, LLC, has applied for a Special Use Permit for covered outdoor storage of vehicles on a ±11-acre site with Commercial Future Land Use and B-2 zoning. The Parcel Identification Number associated with the property is 39169-000-00. The site’s address is 7655 E Highway 25, Belleview, FL 344620. The site is located within the Urban Growth Boundary, the Countywide Secondary Springs Protection Zone, and the City of Belleview’s Utility Service Area.

The Conceptual Site Plan submitted with the application proposes a one-story office building, pull-up mini storage units, and air-conditioned storage units, as permitted by right in B-2 zoning, along with proposed buffers, parking, and drainage retention areas on site. The Conceptual Site Plan also indicates covered parking areas for outdoor storage of RVs, trailers, boats, and other licensed vehicles. This Special Use Permit application seeks to amend a previous Special Use Permit by allowing covered parking structures associated with the outdoor storage of vehicles. At the time of publication, no letter of opposition or letter of support have been received.
