DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On July 22, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved a contract with Tillman & Associates Engineering, LLC (Tillman) to provide engineering design support services for various utility projects. Today, two (2) task orders are being presented, as described below:
20Q-074-TO-29
This task order is to prepare civil engineering site plans for a new maintenance building and associated improvements at the Silver Springs Shores Waste Water Treatment Plant (East Facility). The project cost is $78,032.50.
20Q-074-TO-30
This task order is to prepare civil engineering site plans for a new maintenance building and associated improvements at the Marion Oaks Water Treatment Plant Site #5 (West Facility). The project cost project is $65,981.50.
The work under both task orders will include conceptual design, site inspection, engineering plans, stormwater design, utility design, landscape design, and permitting.
Attached for review are Tillman’s proposals. Pending approval at today’s meeting, the requisitions will be processed and the purchase orders will become part of the project files.
