DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Tillman & Associates Engineering, LLC, the applicant on behalf of the owner GUT Einhaus LLC, has filed an application to rezone a 59.11-acre site located on 2486 NW 60th Ave, Ocala, FL 34482. The applicant proposes a rezoning from General Agriculture (A-1) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) to build up to 236 one-story and two-story signal-family detached residential units, with a density up to 4 units per acre. The parcel account number is 21615-000-00. The subject property is situated inside the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and Secondary Spring’s Protection Overlay Zone (SSPOZ) and portions are located within the in Flood Prone Areas.
