DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Request approval for payment of remaining balance due for a previously approved relocation agreement between Marion County and SECO Electric in association with the SW 49th Avenue - Segment A Road Improvement Project (from 125 feet North of SW 128th Street South to approximately 25 feet North of 131st Place).  The SECO Relocation Agreement was approved by the Board on January 4, 2022, which was based on an estimated amount of   $739,550. The final amount based on actual relocation costs are $829,381, resulting in an increase of $89,831.  The final payment is based on the final actual costs minus fifty percent of the estimated costs, which has already been paid to SECO. 

 

BUDGET/IMPACT:

Expenditure of an additional $89,831 for a total of $459,606 - STC073810 ROW
