DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

This is a request to schedule the second of two workshops regarding the adoption of Transportation Impact Fees.  This workshop is per Florida Statue 163.31801, to allow the Board to consider “extraordinary circumstances.” “Extraordinary circumstances” are necessary should the Board increase the fee by more than 50% of the current rate or increase the fee by annual increments greater than 12.5%. 

 

The workshop is requested in the McPherson Campus Auditorium on:

• Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

 

The first of the two workshops has already been approved by the Board for April 8, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.  Following both workshops, a Public Hearing is required to adopt an Ordinance that re-establishes or increases Transportation Impact Fees.
