DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Growth Services staff, with their consultant, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., will be having meetings with the public regarding Marion County’s 2025 Evaluation Appraisal Report (EAR). Florida Statute requires a review of the Comprehensive Plan every seven years to ensure consistency with statutory requirements and community engagement. This report, the EAR, is due February 2025 with identified changes to the Comprehensive Plan to be completed within one year. These meetings will provide the public and stakeholders to give input on suggested changes that will guide strategic growth in Marion County through 2050.
