DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Applicant, Beau Clymer with Clymer, Farner Barley, Inc, requests a waiver to the Land Development Code (LDC) to allow the Black Label Marine site to have more than one driveway. The subject parcel has two existing driveways that have been permitted since August 31, 1995 with FDOT.
The applicant requests to keep both driveways.
Per the LDC Section 6.11.5, it is the intent of this section that Driveway location and minimum spacing shall be consistent with traffic safety standards. If standards cannot be achieved, the County Engineer or his designee can review and approve on a case-by-case basis.
On September 8, 2025 the Development Review Committee (DRC) denied the Waiver Request and County Engineer denied the request as well.
The subject property is located in the northwest portion of the County on approximately 10.35 acres.
