DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
1. Pending Requisition/Pinel & Carpenter, Inc. - Marion County Office of the County Engineer requests approval to purchase appraisals on thirty-three (33) takings, equating to twenty-six (26) reports in association with the NW/NE 35th Phase 1B road (600 feet east of W. Anthony Road to NE Jacksonville Road) widening project. Total Expenditure of $131,000. Funds are available in line VJ738541-561301 STC073894. This purchase meets the competitive bidding process requirements pursuant to the Procurement Manual.
2. Pending Requisition/Universal Engineering Sciences - Marion County Office of the County Engineer requests approval to purchase independent verification tests for NW 80th Avenue Segment 3 (from 900 feet north of West Highway 40 to 600 feet south of North US Highway 27) to confirm materials and construction activities comply with the project plans, specification, and applicable standards. Total Expenditure of $100,000. Funds are available in line VJ38541-563220 STC073812. This purchase falls under contract 22Q-228.
