DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Board of County Commissioners provided approval to the Marion County Public Schools to apply for funding under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant (JAG) Program through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Funding will be used for safety and awareness in education.

Neutral; grant revenue of $10,000 (no local match required)
