DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
In FY 2024, Marion County Utilities ordered a new trailer mounted centrifuge unit. Per the terms of the contract, 30% was due with the order. The unit did not arrive by September 30, 2024, so the 30% was moved to Prepaid, and these funds were moved back into reserves at fiscal year-end. This request is to add the funds from reserves to the Capital Machinery & Equipment account for the Wastewater Cost Center so that when the unit arrives, the full purchase price can be posted to Equipment. This is a one-time request.
