DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Due to aging piping, there have been an unexpected number of water lines which have required repairs or replacement. This has resulted in an increase in use of outside contractors for emergency repairs either due to equipment which Marion County does not possess, or the repair crews were not available to complete the repairs.
