DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County entered into a purchase agreement on February 17, 2022, to purchase land for the Marion County Utilities department adjacent to the Oak Run Wastewater Treatment facility for possible expansion of this facility. This purchase agreement was amended with regard to Marion Center on July 6, 2022. This request is to transfer funds from the CIP Project set aside for utility acquisitions to make the payment for the land when the closing is finalized. This is a one-time request.
