DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This is a request to set public hearing dates to consider amendments to the Land Development Code (LDC). The proposed revisions will be considered by the Land Development Regulation Commission (LDRC) in a public hearing scheduled for November 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., consistent with LDC Section 2.4.3.
LDC Section 2.5.5.A(1) requires the Board to consider the adoption of the proposed amendments in two (2) advertised public hearings. At least one (1) hearing is to be held after 5:00 p.m. on a weekday, unless the Board, by a majority plus one vote, elects to conduct that hearing at another time of day. Further, the second public hearing shall be held at least 10 days after the first hearing. The following dates and times are requested to conduct the required public hearings and accommodate the required advertising to consider the proposed Amendments:
• Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium, and
• Tuesday, December 15, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium.
