DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On October 20, 2020, the Board approved contract 20P-165 Tire Service and Repairs with two (2) firms to provide tire services for the County’s fleet, including recapping, 24-hour emergency roadside services, and mounting and balancing for cars, trucks, and trailers.
Of the two contracted firms, only Advanced Tire Service, LLC (ATS), has expressed interest in renewing the contract for an additional year. ATS has consistently received favorable evaluations under this contract, and Marion County Fleet Management recommends exercising the final renewal option with this vendor.
Attached for review is the draft amendment. Pending approval at today’s meeting, the amendment will be sent to Advanced Tire Service, LLC, for execution. Once returned, it will be routed for final approval by the County Attorney, Clerk, and Chairman.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; estimated annual expenditure of $625,000. Funds will be available in AA178519-546305 (General Fund)
