DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Walker Harrell of Troop 72 earned the rank of Eagle Scout on April 27, 2026. Walker’s Eagle Scout Service Project involved the complete renovation of the "Florida through Time" interactive exhibit at the Silver River Museum. Walker secured the necessary funding and managed the entire logistics process to overhaul the display. The display now features a curated collection of historical artifacts and informative plaques. To bring a modern, engaging element to the museum, he also collaborated with a classmate to produce and integrate a digital video presentation, successfully fulfilling his scouting requirements and creating a lasting educational resource for the local community.
