DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
SECO Energy will begin transitioning existing High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) lighting to Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology to align with federal mandate requiring the sunset of HPS lighting, which took effect on December 31, 2025.
SECO Energy will not assess an additional fee for the standard conversion from HPS to LED fixtures as part of this planned system-wide transition. Additional information is provided in the attached letter.
