DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

The subject property is three parcels totaling 3.13 acres, which is currently zoned Single-Family Dwelling (R-1). The subject parcel lies within the Primary Springs Protection Zone and the Urban Growth Boundary.  The applicant is requesting a Special Use Permit to allow for the operation of a commercial plant nursery in a residentially zoned property. 

 

The following items are some of the conditions to note that the applicant will be required to adhere to if approved:

                     All parcels to be aggregated;

                     The west fence line area is elevated an additional three feet with a retaining wall;

                     Modified west buffer will be augmented with a rotating stock of large trees;

                     Modified buffers are recommended on all three sides.

                     Primary office structure will be permitted for construction within one year of approval; and

                     Commercial driveway is required.
