DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This request is to fund the implementation, first year subscription and future API connection for the EUNA capital planning and transparency software. This software was selected by a joint committee of Clerk and County staff for the purpose of providing a more effective long-range planning tool. The software will also include a transparency portal that will allow the Commissioners, staff and the public to see expenditures and project progress on a continuous basis. The Clerk of the Court and Comptroller had unspent budget and excess fees received in FY 2025 that he is returning to the Board of County Commissioners. These funds were not anticipated and are therefore not earmarked for expenditure in FY 2026. The annual software maintenance agreement is recurring and will be included in the FY 2027 budget request.
