DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Marion County Office of the County Engineer (OCE), Procurement advertised a bid for Drainage Retention Area Mowing Area V - Five Zones and the Board awarded the contract to John the Lawn and Sons Inc. on the May 5, 2020 meeting. Contract Renewals were approved by the Board at February 2, 2022 meeting.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, John the Lawn and Sons, Inc. has requested their contract be terminated. OCE has agreed to terminate the contract and move forward with finding another Contractor for the mowing.

Motion to terminate contract with John the Lawn and Sons, Inc. and allow staff to re-advertise the solicitation for Drainage Retention Area Mowing Area V - Five Zones.
