DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Solid Waste ordered a replacement leachate pump for the B wet well on December 19, 2024; however, due to manufacturer production delays, the pump is not expected until December 2025. Because this purchase was not eligible to be carried forward, the current budget appropriation is inadequate. The department had planned for both receipt and expenditure in FY 2024-25 and did not anticipate manufacturer delays extending the delivery timeline by more than 10 months.
