DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On December 3, 2025, the Board approved a contract with nexAir, LLC., on behalf of Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) for the supply of medical oxygen cylinders. The agreement includes all necessary labor, equipment, services, incidentals, and permits required to refill and hydro-test the specified equipment on an as-needed basis.
The company, nexAir, LLC., has agreed to maintain their current pricing for the renewal period and has consistently received favorable performance evaluations throughout the term of the existing contract. Based on their satisfactory performance and the continued need for services MCFR recommends renewing the contract with nexAir, LLC., for an additional one (1) year term.
Attached for review is the draft contract amendment. Upon approval at today’s meeting, it will be sent to nexAir, LLC for signature, and upon return, will be forwarded to Legal, the Clerk, and Chairman for signatures.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral: estimated annual expenditure of $67,140. Total expenditure not to exceed annual budgeted amount without being brought back to the Board approval

Motion to approve the recommendation, allow staff to issue, and upon approval from Legal, authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute the contract amendment under 25B-019-CA-01.
