DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On July 2, 2024 the Board of County Commissioners approved the $12,500 Budget Amendment Resolution for the purchase of the KC and Cruiser Remote Control Educational Car to be used by the Marion County Sheriff's Office for providing better Crime Prevention Educational opportunities to young children in Marion County. During the ordering process, it was learned desired additional features require a $900 adder to the order.
Requesting to move funding $900 from Other Current Charges Misc. Expenses (549990) to Machinery and Equipment (564101) within the Crime Prevention Fund to cover the additional cost of the KC and Cruiser Remote Control Educational Car.
With the lead time being 8-12 weeks, request to carry forward this additional $900 to FY 2024-25.
