DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Mark Hodder filed a rezoning application to change from General Agriculture (A-1) to Single-Family Dwelling (R-1) for a ±0.33-acre parcel with a Parcel Identification Number of 1581-008-009. The address is 2170 NE 42nd St., Ocala, FL, 34479. The application proposes rezoning the parcel to be able to comply with setbacks. The primary residence on this parcel was built in 1981, and no further dwelling units are proposed. The subject property is on the corner of NE 22nd Ave and NE 42nd St., in the Ocala Oaks Subdivision. The overall subdivision is located within the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and is also in the Primary Springs Protection Overlay Zone.
