DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue is working with the Public Relations Office to onboard a Public Relations Multimedia Technician to help with the workload assigned to the Fire Life Safety Educator and their coordination with the Public Relations Department. There is an individual that qualifies for this skill requirement that can be onboard through the temporary staffing agency to work full-time for the rest of the fiscal year. The rest of the items that are needed for this position will be borne out of the Fire Rescue's operating budget to cover for this temporary staff. This position will be at a starting rate of $18.24 an hour, with the staffing contractual fee included in the calculation for the hours that will be worked for the rest of the fiscal year.
