DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On behalf of Municipal Services, Procurement Services requests Board ratification of an emergency procurement for sinkhole remediation at the Rainbow Lakes Estates Community Center. An emergency condition necessitated immediate repairs to stabilize the affected area and protect County facilities and the public. In accordance with the County's emergency purchasing procedures, Foundation Services of Central Florida, Inc. was retained to perform the work. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, injection pipe placement, cementitious grouting, all applicable permitting, and area restoration in accordance with the contractor's quote dated June 11, 2026. This will be the fifth sinkhole remediation project completed on this property since 2018. The requisition is attached for review.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; expenditure of $158,926.25. Funding is from ZK160519-545601 (Insurance Fund).
