DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this amendment is to appropriate $50,000 in additional Sales Surtax funding to the Martel Phase 1 - Gun Range (SOC000019), bringing the project total to $2,964,137.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) training division has requested an automated targeting system at the gun range that is currently under construction at Martel. The installation cost is $209,194; much of that can be covered with contingency in the project.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase Infrastructure Surtax Capital Projects Fund appropriation by $50,000.

Recommended action
Approve attached Budget Amendment Resolution and amend the CIP.
