DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
1. Pending Requisition/RKR & Associates, LLC - Marion County Municipal Services requests approval to purchase replacement cubicles and furniture for the Municipal Services main office, as approved and adopted in the FY 2025-26 Budget. Total Expenditure of $80,463.12. Funds are available in line AA410513-564101. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under State of Florida Alternate Contract Source 56120000-24-NY-ACS.
2. Pending Requisition/Motorola Solutions, Inc. - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase six (6) APX8500 dual-head mobile radios, including programming, installation, and associated equipment and software, utilizing surtax funds. Total Expenditure of $69,811.92. Funds are available in lines VJ732522-564101, Project STC0732SG ($13,253.81) VJ733526-564101, Project STC0733SG ($26,595.49); and VJ732522-564101, Project STC0732VE ($29,962.62). 4. Pending Requisition/Badger Meter, Inc - Marion County Utilities requests approval to purchase five (5) SmartCover Smartlevel remote sewer monitoring units ($35,115) and two (2) SmartCover H2Scents remote hydrogen sulfide monitoring units ($21,144). Total Expenditure of $56,259. Funds are available in line ZF448536-563102, Project UTC000084. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under solicitation 10ST-194.
5. Pending Requisition/Tritech Software Systems (CentralSquare) - Marion County Public Safety Communication requests approval to purchase software for CAD-to-CAD Unify, an updated cloud-based interface, that provides the ability to transfer calls for service located within the city limits of Ocala via CAD System. Total Expenditure of $66,634.50. Funds are available in line AA311529-552106. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under solicitation 08C-015.
