DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue has worked with the Human Resources Department on Pro Re Nata (PRN) job descriptions in order to allow for the department to have additional resources to reduce Unit Hour Utilizations (UHU) and to address the increased need of standbys at special events, as there are increased medical demands and needs of Marion County. There are funds in Regular Salaries and Wages in the EMS Fund to move $50,000 to Other Salaries and Wages for the PRN positions to be tracked for success metrics.
