DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Marion County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Meeting regarding the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study being conducted for improvements to CR 484 from Marion Oaks Boulevard to CR 475A. The study is evaluating potential improvements including widening CR 484 from four (4) lanes to six (6) lanes, as well as multimodal improvements, intersection improvements, and drainage retention areas within the project limits.
The Public Meeting will be held on March 31, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Marion Oaks Community Center, 294 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala, FL 34473. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format with a presentation at 5:45 p.m. Notices are being sent to property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet of the project corridor, as well as to interested agencies and organizations. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to review the project, ask questions, and provide feedback.
