DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) fiscal year is on the State’s fiscal year of July 1 through June 30th. We have received notification that Marion County’s State FY27 SHIP allocation is $2,528,503. Community Services has active contracts that are programmed to be funded from the FY 27 allocation in the amount of $831,326. This Amendment will align the expenditure appropriations in the proper accounts for funding and recognize a portion of the grant allocation in Marion County’s FY 26 Budget. The Marion County FY 27 budget will be updated to reflect only the remaining grant balance.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase Local Housing Assistance Trust Fund appropriation by $351,928.

Approve attached Budget Amendment Resolution and update Tentative FY 2026-27 Budget.
