DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This is a request for approval and execution of a resolution declaring that a Public Hearing be held to consider a petition made by Lester L. Smith, Dale E. Stolze, and Deborah A. Stolze to close and abandon a portion of SW 44th Terrace within the Country Oaks subdivision (Plat Book T, Page 92) and to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the general public.
The subject right-of-way is a 60-foot-wide portion of SW 44th Terrace located north of SW 44th Lane. The petition identifies the roadway as having never been opened or constructed.
The request for Road Closure completed the Development Review process and was approved on March 19, 2026.
