DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Development Review approved Major Site Plan AR 31699 (Plan) for Family Life Assembly of God, LLC (Developer), which provided for a water main extension to the farthest end of the Developer’s property as required by Code. Following approval of the Plan, Marion County Utilities (MCU) identified an opportunity to improve the Marion County water distribution system hydraulics by extending the water main beyond the Developer’s required improvements and requested the design to be modified in order to extend the water main and tie-in into Kingsland Country Estates south of SW 95th Street.
At MCU’s request, the Developer’s engineer, materials supplier, and contractor completed the additional work. The Developer paid the associated costs while MCU prepared the Developer Agreement (Agreement). Proof of payment for all invoices has been provided to MCU. Therefore, in addition to approval of the Agreement, MCU requests that the Board authorize reimbursement to the Developer for the documented additional costs incurred at MCU’s request.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; project cost is $96,201.83. Funding is from ZF448536-563102 with project code UTC000094.
