DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
This budget adjustment is necessary to appropriate funding for the Airport Wildlife Site Visit. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded Marion County Airport an Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Grant to fund 95% of the project costs. The assessment will be completed through professional services and requires additional operating budget authority. Funding will be provided through the FAA AIP Grant of $35,625 (95%), a Federal Department of Transportation grant of $1,500 (4%), and a local airport match of $375 (1%).
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Increase Marion County Airport Fund appropriation by $37,125.
