DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The County previously entered into a Locally Funded Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for intersection improvements at County Road 484 and Marion Oaks Boulevard (G3485, FPN 449277-2-62-01), which included a payment of $13,462.00.
Upon FDOT's review of the Locally Funded Agreement and its agreement with DRMP, Inc. for Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services, it was determined that the $13,462.00 payment would be applied directly to CEI project costs, rather than placed into an escrow account. As a result, FDOT has requested the County process Supplemental Amendment Number 1 to remove the escrow language in Section 4(K).
