DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The Hazmat Team budgeted to order a flaring and water injection kit and a biological and chemical liquid/solid sampling kit in the current fiscal year under Machinery and Equipment. However, upon going through the Procurement process to find vendors for the specialized equipment, it was realized that the two kits were discontinued. As a method to remedy the need, Operating Supplies was used to purchase individual items to supplement being able to purchase a complete kit for the team. Since those items cannot be purchased in the current fiscal year, the funds are available to transfer to Operating Supplies in order to order necessary items that are still needed for the Hazmat team due to the unforeseen unavailability of the kits that were budgeted.
