DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
On July 17, 2025, the County Administrator approved a bid exemption to allow continued use of Central Florida Water Testing, LLC d/b/a Plant Technicians (Plant Technicians) as the designated laboratory for Coliform Bac-T and E. Coli analysis, based on their testing methodology and the reliability of results critical for regulatory compliance.
This year’s total expenditure is anticipated to be approximately $75,216, which exceeds the threshold requiring Board approval. Approval of this item will authorize continued use of Plant Technicians for Coliform Bac-T and E. Coli analysis.
Annual expenditure shall not exceed approved FY budgeted amounts without being brought back to the Board for approval.
