DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Marion County will hold two (2) public hearings to gather input for the FY 2026-27 Annual Action Plan.  These hearings will focus on the following federal programs:

                     Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program

                     HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program

                     Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program

The hearings will address the housing, community, and economic development needs of Marion County, including programs administered through the Marion County and City of Ocala HOME Consortium.

Public input gathered during these hearings will help shape the County’s FY 2026-27 Annual Action Plan.

Recommended action

Motion to schedule and advertise public hearings on July 7, 2026, or soon thereafter at 10:00 a.m. and August 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for the proposed FY 2026-27 Annual Action Plan CDBG, HOME, and ESG Grant Funds, both in the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium.
