DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
As a member of the Withlacoochee Regional Water Supply Authority (WRWSA), the Board is eligible to and has applied for WRWSA’s Water Conservation Grant. The grant will reimburse up to fifty percent (50%) of the County’s dollars spent on water use efficiency initiatives. The requested amount of cooperative funding for FY 2024-25 is $26,475. To complete the application, the agreement is required, which confirms that the Board will budget matching funds. Such funding is proposed in the FY 2024-25 Budget.
BUDGET/IMPACT:
Neutral; credit up to $13,237.50 ($10,000 in grant revenue for fund AA433537 [Water Resources] and $3,237.50 in grant revenue for fund ZF440536 [Utilities - Water Operations]).

Motion to approve the attached WRWSA Water Supply Funding Assistance Agreement as presented and authorize the Chair and Clerk to execute the same.
