DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

The item(s) below have been received by Procurement Services and are approved for conformance with the Procurement Code/Manual, pending approval at today’s meeting.

 

1.                     Pending Requisition/esri, inc. - Marion County Information Technology requests approval to purchase maintenance for esri, inc. for ArcGIS licenses and software which is used by multiple County departments for mapping. Total expenditure of $69,729.48; available funds will be provided in the lines specified in each department’s approved budget broken out in the backup. This purchase meets the requirements of competitive bidding under GSA Contract #GS-35F-253CA.

 

2.                     Pending Requisition/Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase two (2) M18 Volt Brute Force C-Cutters ($12,230 each), two (2) M18 Volt 28-inch Spreaders ($12,060 each), and one (1) M18 Volt 40-inch Ram ($7,635 each) including freight ($1,100). Total expenditure $57,315; funds are available in line EF300522-564101 (Fire, Rescue and EMS Fund). This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under 23PB-021.

 

3.                     Pending Requisition/Ten-8 Fire & Safety, LLC - Marion County Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase forty (40) Eco-10 1.75” x 50’ lightweight hose ($137.50 each), twenty (20) FDNY 1.75” x 50’ CPLD ($197.19 each), twenty (20) ECO-10 2.5” x 50’ white ($190.94 each), fifty-two (52) Eco-10 3” x 50’ white CPLD ($280.94 each), and forty (40) Pro-Flow 4” x 100’ Storz yellow ($736.56 each) to equip 4 new fire engines. Total expenditure of $57,333.88; funds are available in line STC0732VE-VJ732522-564101 (Infrast Surtax Cap Proj Fund) This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under 23B-154.

 

4.                     Pending Requisition/Cumberland International Trucks - Marion County Fleet Management requests approval to purchase one (1) 2025 International MV (Lube and Service Truck). Features include 120,000 PSI frame rails, 14,000 lb. front axle, 14,000 lb. front suspension, tilt and telescoping steering column, body builder wiring, blue tooth radio, head lights with wipers, parking break alarm, insulation under hood, insulation splash wells, 300 HP engine, Allison 3000 transmission, 23,000 lb. rear axle with differential locks, air ride driver’s seat, power mirrors, orange seat belts, power windows, indicator lights, and safety kit. Total expenditure of $283,791; funds are available in line AA178519-564101 (General Fund). This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under Florida Sheriff Association Contract FSA23-VEH21.

5.                     Pending Requisition/Alan Jay Ford Lincoln Mercury Inc. - Marion County Facilities Management requests approval to purchase two (2) Ford Transit T-250 Low Roof Cargo Van. Features include 3.5L PFDi V6 Flex Fuel, Fixed Rear Cargo Door & 2nd Row Passenger-Side glass, dark palazzo gray vinyl front and rear bucket seats, Heavy-Duty trailer tow package, Trailer Brake controller, large center console, extended length running boards, load area protection package, and two (2) additional keys. Total expenditure of $118,750; funds are available in line AA180519-564101  (General Fund). This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under Sourcewell Contract #2024 091521-NAF & 06.

 

6.                     Pending Requisition/Alan Jay Ford Lincoln Mercury Inc. - Marion County Facilities Management requests approval to purchase two (2) 2024 Ford Transit T-250 Low Roof Cargo Vans (electrical package). Features include 3.5L PFDi V6 Flex Fuel, 10-Speed automatic w/OD & SelectShift, Fixed Rear-Cargo Door & 2nd Row Passenger-Side Glass, dark palazzo gray vinyl front and rear bucket seats, Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow package, large center console, extended length running boards, load area protection package, and two (2) additional keys. Total expenditure of $118,270; funds are available in line AA180519-564101 (General Fund). This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under Sourcewell Contract #2024 091521-NAF & 06.

 

7.                     Pending Requisition/Harben, Inc. - Marion County Utilities requests approval to purchase one (1) 4018 DTK 375 E-180, High Pressure Water Jetter for maintenance of the sewer collection system. Total expenditure of $84,957.25. Funds are available in line ZF445535-564101 (Marion County Utility Fund). This purchase meets competitive requirements under HGAC Buy Contract SC01-21.

 

8.                     Pending Requisition/Vermeer Southeast Sales & Service, Inc. - Marion County Utilities requests approval to purchase two (2) new ground penetrating radar units which are used to detect and identify subsurface objects, such as piping, for improved accuracy of infrastructure line locates. Total expenditure of $50,214. Funds are available in lines ZF442533-564101 ($25,107) and ZF445535-564101 ($25,107) Marion County Utility Fund. This purchase meets competitive bidding requirements under Florida Sheriff’s Contract FSA23-EQU21.0.

 

9.                     Pending Requisition/Temple, Inc. - The Office of the County Engineer requests approval to purchase nine (9) TF5116TFL02 16 Channel Detection Rack Wired Cabinet Assembly TS-2 Size 6 ($14,935.00/EA). These are advanced traffic signal cabinets that match the adopted standards for signal designs maintained by Marion County. One is currently stocked and due to long lead times (24 weeks), the restock of these items is being requested to ensure replacements can be made for any damaged cabinets. Temple, Inc. is the sole distributor authorized to sell, install, and support these traffic control products. Total expenditure of $134,415.00; funds are available in lines BN403541-553101 - 20% Gas Tax Construction Fund. This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under Sole Source 09SS-132.

 

10.                     Pending Requisition/Duval Ford - Marion County Sheriff’s Office requests approval to purchase four (4) 2024 Ford Interceptor Police Rated Utility, AWD vehicles, to include all specifications detailed on the attached quote ($39,583/each), for their Lieutenants. Total expenditure of $158,332. Funds are available in line VJ737521-564101 (Infrastructure Surtax Cap Project Fund). This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under Bradford County Sheriff’s Contract BCSO 22-27-1.0.

 

11.                     Pending Requisition/Duval Ford - Marion County Sheriff’s Office requests approval to purchase two (2) 2024 Ford Interceptor Police Rated Utility, AWD vehicles, to include all specifications detailed on the attached quote ($39,583/each), for their Detectives. Total expenditure of $79,166. Funds are available in line VJ737521-564101 (Infrastructure Surtax Cap Project Fund). This purchase meets the competitive bidding requirements under Bradford County Sheriff’s Contract BCSO 22-27-1.0.
