DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The attached letter from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) conveys the unaudited amounts that are being returned to the Marion County Board of County Commissioners. MCSO has been working with the Marion County Facilities department to assist with the needs and design of expanding the jail and is requesting the total general fund balance of $120,131, to be used for the capital improvement project.
