DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue has been working with the Office of the County Engineer to secure property for EMS West, project FRC000018. The 5 acre property was appraised and funding has been identified in other surtax projects that can be transferred to fund the project for land acquisition as follows:
STC0732VE: $250,000 from the Platform Truck Repayment
STC0733VE: $349,122 from Ambulances
STC0732VE: $96,878 from the Engine
The amount needed for the property, including closing costs for parcel 23867-000-00 is $696,000.
