DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

On March 29, 2006, and February 7, 2007, two (2) Code Enforcement abatement liens, totaling $17,038.25, plus 12% interest, were recorded against Rose Dickerson for the demolition of a single-family residence, two mobile homes, and removal of campers and other junk located on the property at 8748 and 8750 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony.

 

Payments were received totaling $1,800.00 against the first abatement, and a payment of $40.00 for the second abatement; leaving an unpaid principal balance plus administrative costs of $15,198.25. Interest accrued against both liens at a rate of 12% up to July 20, 2020, then adjusted annually per the rate set by the Florida Chief Financial Officer, on January 1 of each year thereafter.

 

The property ownership has changed three times since the liens were recorded. In October 2023, the current owner, WP RE Ventures 1 LLC, requested relief of the liens.
