DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County Fire Rescue tracks overtime within the Fire, Rescue and EMS Fund, and current projections indicate that additional funding will be required to prevent a year end deficit. Savings accumulated throughout the year in Regular Salaries and Wages have been identified as the source of funds to cover the projected overtime needs. This is a non-recurring issue, though another budget amendment may be necessary before the fiscal year concludes.
