DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Due to the large number of pumps requiring repair or replacement during Fiscal Year 2024, there is a need to add funds to the Equipment Repair line items in the Water and Wastewater Cost Centers. The volatility of brass prices has created a need for additional funds in the Operations Supplies line item of the Water Operations. Hypochlorite usage in Wastewater operations is higher than budgeted.
This request is to move funds from Reserves to the Water and Wastewater Equipment Maintenance and Repairs account, and to the Operating Supplies account. This is a one-time request.
