DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion County is entering into an agreement through the Office of the County Engineer to purchase property: 1) lot 2 of Oehlerking-CFUS, a replat of a portion of Tract 5, Marion Center, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 15, at Page 86, Public Records of Marion County, Florida, and 2) all of Tract 4, Marion Center, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 39, except any portion of Tract 4 previously conveyed to Marion County by Special Warrant Deed from the seller recorded in OR Book 8384, at Page 1356, Public Records of Marion County, Florida. The purpose of this purchase is to have the ability to expand the Southwest Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility located within the Oak Run Subdivision. The land will be owned by Marion County Utilities, in order to service the growth in the southwest portion of Marion County. Amount includes closing costs not indicated in the purchase agreement.
