Development Review Committee

DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

Land Development Code (LDC) 2.16.1.B(8)(g) Division of Land requires a County Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU) to be established for the maintenance of the improvements created by this division prior to final approval and recordation. A Waiver to this provision may only be granted by the Board upon review and recommendation by the Development Review Committee (DRC).

This agricultural lot split is in the northern portion of the County containing one (1) lot totaling 10.06 acres. The LDC permits 10 lots of 10 acres each for an Agricultural Lot Split under Section 2.16.1.

The applicant requests a Waiver to provide an Easement Agreement for maintenance requirements and homeowner association documents in lieu of the MSBU. The Waiver request was heard by the DRC on October 5, 2026, and after discussion, the DRC voted to recommend the Waiver approval to the Board.

BUDGET/IMPACT:

None

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
