DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
Marion Senior Services has adopted a resolution authorizing its Executive Director to evaluate options for the future provision of its transit services, including potential transition, transfer, or restructuring with another governmental entity or provider.
The resolution also authorizes the Executive Director to begin discussions and due diligence activities with interested parties and to communicate the organization’s intent to discontinue transit service operations by December 31, 2026, subject to Board approval and applicable operational and contractual requirements.
