DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:
The current budget appropriation for the Taxiway B project is insufficient to support the total project cost and grant funding awarded for the project. Since the original budget was established, additional Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant funding has been approved and accepted by the Board of County Commissioners through Agenda Item 7.5.2 on September 16, 2025, and Agenda Items 7.2.2 and 7.2.4 on March 17, 2026. This budget adjustment increases the project budget to align with the executed grant agreements and final project funding structure, ensuring sufficient appropriation is available for project expenditures. The source of funds for this budget adjustment is the approved FAA and FDOT grant funding awarded for the Taxiway B project, along with the required Marion County local match. These funds have been accepted through Board-approved grant agreements and are being appropriated to accurately reflect available project funding.

Increase Marion County Airport Fund appropriation by $822,679 and amend CIP.
