Austin T. Dailey, Esq. with Klein & Klein LLC., on behalf of property owner, Meridian Land Holdings, LLC., has filed an application to rezone an ±17.60-acre portion of an overall ±34.31-acre property located on the southern corner of the intersection of N US Hwy 27 and NW Hwy 464B from Community Business (B-2) to Rural Commercial (RC-1), pursuant to the provisions of Land Development Code (LDC) Division 2.7 - Zoning and LDC Section 4.2.23. The subject property is situated outside the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and in the County's Secondary Springs Protection Overlay Zone (SSPOZ) as well as the Farmland Preservation Area (FPA).
