DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND:

On December 19, 2023, the Board approved a grant agreement to provide Humane Society of Marion County, Inc. with $50,000 to be used for Spay and Neuter services, vaccination and micro-chipping, among other services.

 

On August 6, 2024, Humane Society of Marion County, Inc. presented to the Board how the funds have been used, during which time the Board provided direction to continue with the programs.

 

The amendment being presented today releases the remaining funds as outlined in the original agreement.

Neutral; expenditure of $10,000 as approved in FY 2023-24 budget
